Hi, my name is Cathrine
How I got here.....
I didn't discover coercive control in the classroom.....I lived it.
Through my childhood I was taught that silence was better then speaking out, fitting into the box was a must, crying was too emotional for anyone to deal with and that I was not valued enough, to spend time with, unless it benefitted someone else.
Modelling a mother that over-gave, erased herself, accepted control, forced into isolated and manipulated into submission, had deep emotional effects on me and vivible behavioural patterns that were beyond my understanding and comprehension, for a very long time.
Being conditioned to believe that this was what love looked like, I attracted partners who were emotionally and mentally abusive.
Through self reflection, study and understanding of myself, becoming self-aware and seeing through the veil down to the truth, I noe guide others in their journey through self-awareness, self discovery, in recognizing control patterns and through understanding and healing.
I am now a writer and creator of educational books, videos and other learning materials, to support others in their journey to peace and freedom.
Healing from coercive control patterns, is a lifelong journey to re-discover and re-establish the inner parts of one-self that are true and empowered and to move forward with acceptance and clarity.
You are not alone ............... and you are not without options and support.
